Fantastic neighborhood hardware store. I always go here for anything random item I need to fix something at home. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. Is worth going just to see the whole place and make a mental inventory of what they have. Last time I found they even have a little lumber!!

We had a good experience at the store - friendly and helpful service. We needed help with purchasing light bulbs for a new lamp and got the wrong ones - went back to exchange them a couple weeks later and they were helpful in replacing and helping us select new ones.

Super nice people run this perfect Hardware Store. They helped me find exactly what I needed super fast. In town from New Orleans helping my son move here for his job and needed some items for his new apartment. Dick’s Cut Rate Hardware in the Financial District had everything I needed at a great price. Highly recommended these wonderful folks !

Dick’s is a treasure. They work so hard to make sure your hardware needs are fully met (even for a few nuts and bolts). We go there to support our son’s place in FiDi. It’s amazing how much really good hardware items they stock - puts the big box stores to shame (not to mention the big box stores know almost nothing about what works best). Keep up the great work!

Had to go back from my work to the hardware store 3 separate times and Justin (I believe) was very helpful and patient, he even showed me how the paint would dry and what could work best for the project we were working on. Very helpful!

Dick’s Cut Rate Hardware is a neighborhood gem. Their hours are fantastic — they’re open when you actually need them — and they always seem to have exactly what I’m looking for, no matter how specific. The shelves are well-stocked and it’s so much easier than running to a big box store. On top of that, the staff is friendly and helpful. Brandon in particular has been great whenever I’ve needed help, but honestly the whole team makes shopping here a breeze. This is the kind of hardware store every neighborhood needs.
